The Variags of Khand were a faction lead by BDeuce. They resided east and south-east of Mordor in Rhûn and Harad. Their valley was incredibly fertile and their riding rivaled that of Rohan. They were part of the Khaganate.
History[]
Khand was founded in February 2016 by BDdeuce, the former ruler of Mordor, as a vassal of the great Khaganate. BDdeuce took control of a swath of land, some of which was owned by Near Harad, in the south-east and founded a number of cities while engaging in various conflicts in Harad. These were both against the Astrasi Empire in the Khagagate's attempt to establish a presence in Far Harad, and in support of of them during the Numenorean Umbar War.
By late 2017, however, Khand had all but collapsed as their members fell into inactivity, and by 2018 it had ceased to exist. Near Harad then took over some of their territory while the rest was abandoned.
